That’s not my name … but … what is?

November 5th, 2009 by Mary | Filed under The Observatory, web stuffs

I don’t normally do this, but today I have to apologize. Team, I have fallen off the blog wagon, and I’m sorry. It just seems that life sometimes decides things have been too calm, too easy, too stable for too long, and then suddenly you get multiple forms of upheaval all at once — some good, some bad, some baffling. Example: You get what seems to be a huge opportunity out of the blue, you jump on it because that’s how you roll, all signs point to “yes,” and yet, it doesn’t come through. Then you spend a week wondering wtf, how’d you miss it? Then you have to reexamine all your goals and priorities, and that makes you want to do a major overhaul of certain parts of your life, and that’s just one of the things that has come up in the past couple weeks that all demand to be addressed immediately.

What’s up with that?

Anyway, I’m honestly just having to realign my priorities here, but I’m working on it something fierce. In the mean time, please enjoy this song because it makes me wanna rock out like a badass.

  1. Well, you know we’ll always be here — and some of us can be way spottier bloggers than you, so you’re not alone . I, for one, totally get the things-life-throws-at-you bit. I had a particularly urgent matter to attend to last week, missed dealing with it by one day, which made a HUGE difference, went to deal with the now-much-worse situation, and found out it’s even worse still. Then I enacted the very productive strategy of sitting around worrying and wishing and stressing.

I think reassessing priorities always turns out for the best in the end though, provided we survive the reassessment.
