That guy not only made me ridiculously angry at his extra-topical whatevers but I could manipulate him by talking about his psychological theories such that I got a B in his class without hardly doing any work at all. I guess I still have the grudge and I actually don't think it's silly at all. But as an aside, I coincidentally have Raymond Carver's "Will You Please Be Quiet Please" collection of stories at my bedside waiting for me to start reading it!
